Waiting

Just put the kids to bed and now I am waiting on Santa to arrive. They are so excited!!! This could take awhile, LOL. There is nothing better than the joy of children. Sometimes I get so caught up in their imagination that mine gets to running wild and I have to sit back and laugh at myself. It is then I realize that is the mind set God wants us to have. That of a child, that we TRULY believe, believe without any trace of doubt. Man that is so amazing!

Christmas Eve

Well it is here Christmas Eve 2009! It is 5am and I have had a whole hour of sleep. Just had my morning coffee and read some interesting blogs, one that is really sticking with me is about confession. Yeah I know that is word only used on Sunday mornings and nobody wants to think about any other time. Scripture says we are to confess our sins we all have heard that but do we put much thought into it? God says we are all sinners we sin everyday, do we confess everyday. I am not talking about those Lord forgive me real quick prayers so we can get back to our lives prayer. Do we take time to lay it all out and let God have it and allow Him to show us those things we can not see ourselves? Let me be the first to say I fall into those fly bye prayers also. As I sit here and type this I feel the conviction of this but I do know the God I serve is Faithful and Just to Forgive not only me but ALL who confess and turn to Him! What an Amazing God we serve and I pray that all who reads this takes these words to heart and stop the fly bye prayers and give it ALL over to God and receive the gift He freely gives/

Today's thoughts

Today LifePointe had a great day! Everybody just seemed to be on top of the mountain and we all know when everything is going that great satan is not far behind. It wasn't until later on in the day when he struck. Things like that always seem to suck all the joy out of me but I think God for a Awesome Senior Pastor who is always there to help guide me and remind me it is never as bad as I make it out to be. We know God takes care of his children and that He did tonight, the family God has given me just straight out showed me Love and filled the nite with laughter and fun and I know it was all God and I fell like I got the chance to see my Savior face to face tonight through my loving family. Well thats enough for tonight.
